Vegetarian Maca capsules are prepared from the dried root of Lepidium meyenii plants which are grown for us in the Peruvian highlands. The herb is gelatinized (steam-cooked) for digestive ease & optimal absorption. As an edible food crop that flourishes at the high altitudes of Peru’s central highlands, Maca has been grown and consumed there as far back as 1,600 BC.

Capsules are perfect for times when liquid extracts cannot be used or are not preferred. We assure herb identity via microscopic and organoleptic analysis, then confirm it through methods such as HPTLC fingerprinting specific to each herb.

To ensure the quality and supply of your favorite herbs, we work with a global network of farmers, wildcrafters and brokers, who cultivate and harvest plants where they can thrive. All herbs used in our products undergo a series of rigorous quality checks.
