Why on earth did you add maltodextrin to your products? This puts your products on par with substandard drugstore brands. What a shame. I will not use nor recommend health products with sugars in them. Please go back to your original recipes. It serves no health benefit whatsoever to add sugars to health remedies.

Hi Marick - Thank you for sharing your feedback. We developed our Kava capsules to make this herb available to more people that may not be able to ingest our alcohol-based liquid extract. Our Kava capsule formula is the same as the original capsule formula with the exception that we are now using an organic capsule shell. Maltodextrin is needed in the process of making a concentrated powder extract to deliver the desired concentration of active constituents.
While we do offer hundreds of liquid herbal extracts, and we continue to offer our traditional Kava liquid herbal extract as well, we understand that it’s not everyone’s preferred format. Such is the case for capsules too. With capsules, we’re able to offer more options that still deliver the broad-spectrum of phytochemicals from the plant. Capsules are easy to take on the go, only require a sip of water to swallow and are fully taste-free. We encourage you to make the best choice for your body in regard to which delivery methods work for you.
