Details & Ingredients

PRODUCT FEATURES

Better Bitters: Classic harnesses the inherent power of bitter herbs and delivers them in a convenient spray or drop form. It is a very crisp and balanced formula for the bitters purist. It features Gentian root, popular in traditional European bitters preparations. The herbs in the formula are extracted and preserved with Certified Organic cane alcohol and vegetable glycerin.
The herbs in this formula are individually extracted to provide a broad spectrum of plant compounds. We assure herb identity via macroscopic and organoleptic analysis, then confirm it through methods such as HPTLC fingerprinting specific to each herb. The formula is easily dispensed and taken in liquid or spray form.
Suggested Use
Shake Well Before Using. 10 to 15 minutes before meals, add 1 full squeeze of the dropper bulb to 2oz. of water, hold in mouth to savor the complex flavors, then swallow.

We grow more than 65 species of plants on our Certified Organic farms, but not every plant can grow well in southern Oregon. To ensure the quality and supply of your favorite herbs, we work with a global network of farmers, wildcrafters and brokers, who cultivate and harvest plants where they can thrive. All herbs used in our products undergo a series of rigorous quality checks.

Depending on the product, more than one country of origin may be listed for an herb. Your product may contain herbs from any of those approved sources. Find more information about our ethical sourcing practices.

Ginger

Ginger is an herbaceous perennial herb, growing up to approximately 5 feet (1.5 meters) in height.4 Its alternate lance-shaped narrow leaves are sheathed to the stem and grow upwards.4 Flower stems are shorter than leaf stems and have an egg-shaped tip with dense, large yellow-green bracts surrounding the tip.The orange-yellow petals of the flower have a purplish tubular inner structure.3,4 The cone flowers are scarce in a spike formation originating from a small thin bract within the larger bract.4,5 Its capsule fruit has tiny arillate seeds.4 The underground part is a horizontal rhizome that branches out resembling the fingers of a hand.4 The thin skin of the rhizome is a tan color with a yellow fibrous interior.4
